Oldmac Card Policy for Payments

As you may be aware, the Australian Government's ban on card payment 
surcharges will take effect from 1 October 2026.

As a result of these changes & to ensure compliance, we are implementing the 
following payment policy across all dealerships effective from this date:

American Express
• We will no longer accept American Express (Amex) payments.

Vehicle Sales Card Limits
• The maximum card payment permitted for any vehicle settlement is 
$5,000 per vehicle.
• The $5,000 can be used as: 
• the initial deposit;
• part of the final settlement; or
a combination of both to a total of $5,000.

Note: The combined total of the card payment used for the initial deposit and 
any card payment towards the final settlement cannot exceed $5,000 per 
vehicle sale.
